Accessory: Battery-operated light module for Lumiz lanterns (lights the lantern without the sun)
The lovely Lumiz solar lanterns now have a battery-powered accessory available, allowing them to be used indoors as well as on balconies and terraces where the sun doesn't shine.
This battery-powered light replaces the solar cell and the lantern lights up with a remote control. The module comes with 2 x AAA batteries.
The battery module is water resistant.
Watch the instructional video for installing the light module. The solar module has a ring inside the lantern that holds the module in the lantern. Turn the ring counterclockwise until you hear a "click". If the ring is tight and you can't get a good grip on it, a rubber glove will help you get a good grip on it. Once the ring is off, you can remove the solar module and replace it with the battery-powered module.
The battery module has an ON/OFF switch. Using the switch requires removing the support bar inside the lantern, so we recommend purchasing a remote control to use this accessory. The remote control controls 1 or more light modules.

Solar lanterns can withstand rain and sun, but they should only be brought inside when the weather gets cold.
