Product description

The blue-green "Strawberry Thief" doormat is inspired by one of the most iconic works of the 19th century, created by William Morris (1834-96), a master of the Arts & Crafts movement. The doormat's image comes from the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum archives.

In the original work housed at the Victoria and Albert Museum, as in this doormat, the focus is on the thrushes stealing strawberries in the grounds of Morris's manor in Oxfordshire.

The doormat is 90 cm wide, 60 cm deep, and 1.5 cm thick.

This handcrafted doormat is responsibly made in the Kerala province of India. The doormat's surface material is coir. Coir is obtained from coconut husks and is a compostable natural material. Only environmentally friendly dyes are used for coloring the doormat.
The underside of the doormat is made of plastic.

The doormat can be cut lengthwise or widthwise with a sharp utility knife.

Shake or vacuum clean.

You can extend the life of the mat by using it in a location where it is not exposed to direct sunlight and rain.
