The Victoria & Albert Museum's wallpaper collection is one of the finest in the world, featuring impressive designs from different eras, representing a variety of styles and artistic movements. The stylised silhouettes and bold colours of these floral patterns are from a 1950s wallpaper sample and epitomise the playful look of mid-20th century design in fashion and interior design.
The handmade doormat is responsibly produced in the state of Kerala, India. The surface material of the doormat is coconut fiber. Coconut fiber is obtained from the shell of the coconut and is a compostable natural material. Only environmentally friendly dyes are used in the dyeing of the doormat. The underside of the doormat is plastic.
