Archive Trails I Wallpaper Collection

Archive Trails is a collection of English and French trailing wallpaper designs inspired by the Little Greene archives.

The collection showcases classic floral and botanical motifs, with patterns climbing and flowing naturally along the wall surface. Trailing floral wallpapers have been part of decorative interiors long before the industrial production of wallpapers and the widespread use of repeating patterns.

In early 18th-century interiors, wall decorations were often hand-painted, essentially custom-made murals. This artisanal tradition served as a model for later, more structurally repeating patterns, which have become the distinctive look of wallpapers over the last two centuries.
