This beautiful grey-toned blanket is patterned after Morris & Co.'s Strawberry Shortcake. The pattern is inspired by one of the most iconic works of the 19th century, by Arts & Crafts master William Morris (1834-96).

In the original The In the work Strawberry Thief, as in this quilt, the attention is drawn to the thrushes that steal strawberries in the grounds of the Morris estate in Oxfordshire.

Now the work comes to life as a beautifully variegated pattern on a gray background.
