Product description
The hand-carved wooden decorations, preserved from a demolished house, adorn this unique coffee table. The wooden decorations were likely used as wall ornaments in the house and have been repurposed by building the coffee table's frame around them.
This teak coffee table can safely be used outdoors, but due to its glass top, we recommend keeping it sheltered from rain.
The coffee table is pictured without the glass top, which is included with delivery. You can also use the table without the glass if preferred.
Teak wood is also suitable for outdoor use.
Vintage by Sasu's furniture consists of genuinely old pieces, typically from the island of Central Java in Indonesia. Our partner tours local buy-and-sell shops looking for furniture that is in good enough condition or can be restored. The furniture is typically 50-70 years old.

Our Indonesian partner Shreya Furniture is a second-generation family business. The founder of the company, Michael, was originally from Australia and he had the idea to start finding, restoring and selling old items outside of Indonesia. Michael's daughter continues in her father's footsteps and finds treasures for us and her other customers in Indonesian buying and selling shops.
Old doors, wood trim and shutters have been preserved from demolished old houses. Teak doors, wood trim and shutters are suitable for DIY projects both inside and out.
