This handmade vintage sofa with subtle carvings is a unique piece from Indonesia. The almost two-meter-wide sofa embraces a larger group. Indonesian wooden sofas are typically deep in seating depth, so that the sofa can also be used as a bed.
The teak sofa is also very suitable for outdoor use.

The sofa is a unique one-off from Indonesia, found by Sasu's founder at a local buy and sell shop. Our local partner has refurbished this sofa for us.
The origin of Vintage by Sasu's products
We have been working with Shreya Furniture from Indonesia for over ten years. The core of their business is finding old items in local rural buy-and-sell shops, which to Westerners often resemble junkyards, and renovating the items they find there. With the help of Shreya Furniture, we also occasionally have products other than old items for sale.

Our vintage products have a real touch of craftsmanship. First, someone has made the product by hand and then years later, the product has been restored by hand.
There is rarely more than one vintage item, making these treasures true collectors' items.
