The tray is made in Europe from pressed Nordic birch veneer, and both sides are protected with an environmentally friendly, food-safe coating. The durable construction is designed for longevity, and the tray will retain its beauty for years to come. The tray is easy to clean by wiping it with a damp cloth. The durable construction withstands temperatures up to 120 °C, and the tray is dishwasher safe, making everyday life more effortless.

Koustrup & Co. has meticulously restored this pattern from the original hand-drawn sketches found in William Morris's own home. Every detail has been preserved as faithfully as possible to the original design, in collaboration with The William Morris Society, whose mission is to cherish Morris's legacy and ideals for future generations.

William Morris (1834–1896) was a British designer, writer, and one of the founders of the Arts & Crafts movement. He believed in the importance of craftsmanship, quality materials, and beauty in everyday life. Morris's nature-inspired patterns have retained their popularity for over a century and are still considered interior design classics. His thinking crystallized into the idea that beautiful and well-made objects should be accessible to everyone – not just a privilege of a few. This philosophy is still evident in his timeless patterns and their appeal.
