This cute pair of rabbits hidden in vegetation are a motif taken from a furnishing textile by William Morris, held in the V&A’s archives. Designed between 1881 and 1882, Brother or Brer Rabbit shows a dense pattern of paired animals and fantastic foliage, illustrating Morris' interest in medieval European textiles which he studied at the V&A. Available in two sizes. - 100% natural coir with backing and constructed to the highest industry standards - Coir is derived from the husks of coconuts and a natural and biodegradable fiber, excellent for scraping away dirt from shoes - Proceeds from this item support the V&A and its missions of the education, research, and preservation of art history and culture
