Black recycled plastic and durable brown jute are the materials used to make the Cochin rug. This hand-woven rug has fringes on the long sides of the rug, giving the rug character and relaxation. The rug is reversible, which increases the durability and lifespan of the rug. In terms of color and materials, the Cochin rug is also suitable for spaces where a lot is required of the rug, such as the kitchen and hallway.

Delivery time

The Classic Collection rugs are available in store. We do not stock rugs, but deliver them directly from the manufacturer to your home within 1-2 weeks. The same cancellation and return policies apply to custom-made products as other online store orders.

Care instructions

Vacuum gently: Vacuum regularly on both sides and the floor under the rug. Do not use the brush function of the vacuum cleaner and reduce the suction power. Avoid vacuuming the edges, bindings and fringes as they can be damaged.

Anti-slip: Use an anti-slip pad to protect both the carpet and the floor and prevent the carpet from slipping.

Turn the rug: Turn the rug regularly to ensure even wear and prevent fading due to exposure to light.

Protect from moisture and water damage: Avoid exposing the rug to excessive moisture as the material can absorb water and become damaged. Wipe up any spills on the rug immediately.

Damp areas: Do not use the rug in damp areas such as bathrooms or outdoors, as this may affect its durability.

Protect from heavy furniture: We recommend using pads under the legs of heavy furniture to prevent dents and wear on the carpet.

Stains: Dry wet stains immediately with paper towels. Scrape dry stains gently from the outside edge towards the center with a soft scraper.

Carpet cleaning: Always take your carpet to a reputable dry cleaner for a flat wash. Jute carpets should not be machine washed or dry cleaned.

This rug is suitable for indoor use only. Direct sunlight may cause color fading. Do not fold the rug as this may permanently damage the fibers. Cut loose fibers or fringes with scissors – never pull them. New rugs may have a slight odor from the material or workmanship, which will dissipate over time. The odor will dissipate more quickly by ventilating in a well-ventilated room.

The furniture can be found in our store, but we mainly store our furniture in our warehouse, which is located 1km from the store. The warehouse is not staffed, so please contact us and arrange a pick-up the day before. Pick-up time from the warehouse is preferably before 10 am or after 6 pm.

The delivery time for custom products varies depending on the supplier. The delivery time for products made from teak and shipped from Indonesia is 3-4 months. The delivery time for other suppliers is 2-4 weeks. We try to provide the delivery time for custom products in the product information.
